Two Types of Solar Dates
As per W.D. Gann, we have witnessed two types of solar dates; static and dynamic solar dates. As per him, the year is supposed to begin with 21st March, not 1st January.
How to Get Static Days?
- The average number of days in a year is 365.256.
- Divide it by 360.
- It comes out to be 1.0146, hence one degree = 1.0146 days.
- Static degrees when the market may change drastically may occur, are 30, 45, 60, 72, 90, 120, 135, 150, 180, 210, 225, 240, 252, 270, 288, 300, 315, 330, and 360 degrees.
- Now, you can divide the days with 1.0146 and the date and month will come out. e.g. 30 x 1.0146 = 30.438 comes out to be 21st March + degree = 20th April.
Similarly, the dynamic days are calculated but keep the highs and lows in mind.
